IDG Vietnam hosted E-government 2023, where we had industry and government experts discuss a variety of key topics for the growth of Vietnam.
2023 marked a significant period for Vietnam’s e-governance and digital transformation, largely driven by its designation as the “National Digital Data Year.” Key advancements included the revised E-Government Architecture Framework (Version 3.0), which aimed to boost data sharing capabilities, and a robust focus on growing the digital economy, which contributed over 12% to the GDP. The nation also made considerable progress in developing its national and specialized databases. Furthermore, there was a strong emphasis on integrating emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and big data into public services, alongside continued efforts to digitalize these services and bridge the existing “digital divide.”
