Biography:

Mr. Robert Trong Tran is a speaker and a reliable consultant on IT risks and digital confidence. Mr. Robert Trong Tran currently holds the position of Consulting Deputy General Director, Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Leader of Ernst & Young Vietnam Co., Ltd. (EY Vietnam).

He has more than 20 years of professional experience in information security. He has successfully led projects on information technology (IT) governance model and target operation, strategy and IT training for the board of directors, assessed the level of perfection of IT systems, established threat modeling, breach index assessment, vulnerability assessment, penetration resistance testing, data theft, business continuity management, corporate risk, compliance with privacy, monitor security, react to IT system breaches, and security with blockchain technology.

He is also in charge of implementing and providing cybercrime penetration and attack assessment services in various industries.

He holds a master’s degree from ParisTech School of Telecommunication Technology (France) and many international professional certificates in cybersecurity. Mr. Robert Trong Tran leads EY Vietnam’s team of highly qualified cybersecurity experts to protect customers’ business by building a strong foundation for network security, detecting IT threats they are facing and responding to cyber security breaches. He contributes to the goal of building a better working world by protecting customers from traditional and non-traditional IT risks, so they can achieve better and more lasting results, from strategy to execution.
