Biography:

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong was born in Nam Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province. He studied at the Postal Technical School, trained as a PhD student in France, then returned to work in the Postal industry, holding positions such as Deputy Director, Director of the Postal Policy Department.

In 2006, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong was appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Communications in charge of IT (including electronics, software copyright…). Since June 2015, he has been assigned by the Minister of Information and Communications to be in charge of the field of legislation, science and technology, training, postal delivery, quality standards… He is currently the Chairman of Vietnam Digital Communications Association, and an expert of the National Committee on e-Government.
