The year 2025 marks a period of profound transformation for Viet Nam in its journey toward advancing Digital Government and the digital economy. Under the theme “Digital Government and Modern Infrastructure Architecture: Developing an Open Economy, the Information Technology Industry, and Emerging Sectors (Tourism – Sports – Resort Urbanism) in Ho Chi Minh City and Surrounding Regions,” the National Conference on Digital Government 2025 aims to provide strategic insights into Viet Nam’s next phase of digital development.
The keynote session of the conference will clarify key strategic requirements for building a synchronized digital infrastructure, enhancing effective data utilization, strengthening interconnection and data sharing across governmental bodies, and shaping a digital innovation ecosystem for the Southern region. The main reporting session will examine the shift from traditional digital transformation approaches to a model of coordinated – collaborative – shared governance, along with priority themes such as the national digital infrastructure, open platforms, transparent data strategies and digital trust, and Viet Nam’s positioning within the regional digital innovation landscape. The event also highlights the pivotal role of Ho Chi Minh City in fostering the IT industry, the open economy, and emerging sectors—tourism, sports, and resort-oriented urban development—through technology adoption and innovation.
The conference brings together Government leaders, regulatory agencies, experts, and technology enterprises from Viet Nam and abroad to share experiences, emerging trends, and practical solutions that accelerate the modernization of digital infrastructure and enhance the effectiveness of governance and public service delivery for citizens and businesses in the new era.
