Digital Healthcare & Education Summit
The National Digital Healthcare & Education Summit, an annual event launched by IDG Vietnam in 2021, grew out of the National E-Government Conference. Co-organized and chaired by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training, the summit aims to accelerate digital transformation in Vietnam’s healthcare and education sectors. It highlights real-world models, shared experiences, and technological innovations that enhance management quality in these fields. The inaugural summit, held in Hue City in 2021, drew approximately 500 participants, including leaders and managers from key ministries, departments, major hospitals, and leading educational institutions across the country.

On December 30, 2021, IDG Vietnam and the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) jointly organized the Digital Healthcare Summit 2021 event. The summit's central theme was "Digital Transformation of the Healthcare Industry Towards Health Services & Social Healthcare Qualities Improvement."
The event was structured into two primary sessions: "Digital Transformation in Healthcare Management & Building Digital Hospital" and "Solutions to Promote Telehealth." Experts from various organizations, including the Ministry of Health, hospitals, KPMG, Siemens Healthineers, Viettel, and international bodies, presented on crucial topics such as the value of digital health, relevant legal frameworks, the development of smart hospitals, the advancements in telehealth, and the principles of value-based healthcare.
