Banking Vietnam
Banking Vietnam is the annual flagship conference and expo for banking leaders since 2003. It is a joint initiative by IDG Vietnam and the State Bank of Vietnam focused on leveraging IT for sector modernization and digital transformation. The event convenes regulators, most Vietnamese banks, and relevant IT solution providers. Typically drawing about 700 attendees and nearly 30 high-level speakers, it’s a vital forum for Vietnam’s banking technology landscape.

In Hanoi on May 30, 2019, the event was centered on the theme "Financial Inclusion in the Rising Movement of Cashless Economy." Chaired by leaders from the State Bank of Vietnam, the conference gathered top experts from banks, international organizations, technology firms, and consultancies. Session topics included financial inclusion, non-cash payments, Fintech, cybersecurity, risk management, and the diversification of financial services in the digital economy context.
In 2018, IDG Vietnam and VDCA hosted Banking Vietnam in Hanoi on July 5. The main theme, "Promoting Contactless Payment Towards the Development of Digital Economy and a Modern & Effective Digital Government". The conference gathered banking leaders, financial experts, and technology professionals. Discussion sessions focused on contactless payment technology, modern telecommunications infrastructure, Blockchain applications, analyzing and managing banking/financial data, and information security
IDG Vietnam hosted the event in Ho Chi Minh City on May 18-19, 2017. Themed "Digital Banking Transformation – An Innovative Journey in the Era of Customer Centricity", the event gathered over 400 experts to discuss technology trends (Blockchain, Fintech, Open API, Cloud), information security, risk management, payment innovation, and enhancing customer experience in the digital age
