Dr. Nguyen Van Yen has been the Head of Technology Department, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group since 2015. Before that, he held many different positions in VNPT Group: Deputy General Director of Network Infrastructure Corporation, Deputy Director of Vinaphone, Head of Telecommunications Department of VNPT Group… He is in charge of developing the planning and implementation plan for telecommunications and IT infrastructure according to VNPT's long- and medium-term business goals. He is in charge of developing VNPT's IT and telecommunications infrastructure organization principles and testing the implementation of new technologies on VNPT's network infrastructure. On February 15, 2022, the Committee for Management of State Capital at Enterprises announced the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Yen, Head of Technology Department of VNPT Corporation, to the position of Member of this Group's Members' Council.
