
PhD Hoang Le Minh
Ph.D Hoang Le Minh, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh city - Doctor of Mathematics - Informatics (Moscow State University), has many years of teaching at many universities and research institutes in Europe, the United States and Japan such as Steklov Mathematical Institute - Soviet Academy of Sciences (1984-1987), Banach Research Center – Poland (1988), International Center for Theoretical Physics – Italy (1989-1991), University of Nice and Paris 13 (1992, 1998), National University of Singapore (1994), Osaka University Japan (2001); Ph.D Minh used to hold the positions of Head of the Department of Applied Informatics - University of Ho Chi Minh City (1995-2000), Director of Software Center VNU-HCM (2001-2003), Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Head of Ho Chi Minh City IT Project Management Board (2003-2005), Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Post and Telecommunications (2005), Director of the Institute of Software Industry and Digital Content Vietnam (Ministry of Information and Communications (2008-2017). He has decades of experience in the field of IT and has participated in several projects and conferences at the State, Central, and Local levels. He is highly proficient in the domains of High-Performance Computing, Cloud Computing, and Data Science. Ph.D.'s primary areas of specialization at the moment. Mr. Hoang Le Minh since joining teaching and research at the Faculty of IT, Van Lang University (November 2017) is Computer Vision, Analytics and Intelligent Data Processing for Digital Transformation. Ph.D Hoang Le Minh is currently a member of the Executive Board of the National Startup Association (ViNen), Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Informatics Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Software and IT Service Enterprise Association. He has participated in many domestic and international Conferences, Seminars and Talkshows related to Digital Transformation applications and current topical topics in the IT field.
