Biography:

Mr. Le Thanh Tam is currently Chief Executive Officer of International Data Group (IDG) in Vietnam and ASEAN. He is also the president of the CEO&CIO club. IDG is the world’s leading corporation in information technology communication event organization and market research, reaching more than 280 million customers in the information technology field in 97 countries worldwide. Mr. Le Thanh Tam has held the position of General Director of IDG Vietnam since 1999 and has restructured the company structure to become an organization with fast sales growth in IDG Group. He plays an essential role in the company’s development. Before joining IDG in 1999 Mr. Tam held essential positions on the Boards of British Petroleum/Castrol and Exxon/Esso Oil and the petrochemical industry He was honored to receive the 2004 Outstanding Manager Award presented by the IDG president at the Institute of Global Communications in Massachusetts. He graduated from the Business Administration Program at Harvard University. He also holds a degree in petroleum engineering from Grefswald, Germany
