The National Conference on Vietnam Digital Government is an annual event organized by the International Data Group in Vietnam (IDG Vietnam) in collaboration with the Vietnam Digital Communication Association (VDCA) since 2005.
This October, IDG Vietnam collaborates with the Vietnam Digital Communications Association to organise the Vietnam Digital Government Conference and Expo 2022 at Hai Phong City, Vietnam. The conference will be held with the purpose of sharing insights about population database application, e-identification, and e-authentication with introducing the latest information technology solutions to promote digital economy and digital society towards national digital transformation goals in the period of 2022 – 2025.
The Vietnam Digital Government Conference & Expo 2022 has the topic of DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP, DIGITAL UNIVERSITY MODELS, LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES, THE LAND, POPULATION DATABASE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, AND SOLUTIONS FOR THE NATIONAL DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ENHANCEMENT. It is a place where leaders from government, ministries, provinces with experts representing international organizations such as the United Nations, and World Bank and domestic and international consultants and information technology experts discuss, propose models, and advanced use on roadmaps and introduce outstanding information technology solutions. In order to support Vietnam in achieving dual goals while developing the Digital Government system and the Public Service Portal toward building a Digital Government and a digital nation.
The conference consists of the 01 keynote, 02 discussion sessions running concurrently and the Chief Digitalization Officer (CDO) Awards 2022. In the morning, there will be a Keynote session on the application of population database and solutions to promote the digital economy and digital society – towards the national digital transformation goals, followed by a high-level panel discussion with the participation of leaders from the Office of the Government, the Ministry of Information and Communications & the People’s Committee of Hai Phong as well as leaders of businesses and international organizations.
Discussion Session 1 has the topic of TECHNOLOGY EMPLOYING TO DEVELOP REGIONAL ADVANTAGES TOWARD THE DIGITAL ECONOMY AND SOCIETY.
Discussion Session 2 has the topic of DEVELOPING THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ECOSYSTEM IN EDUCATION & TRAINING.
Participants attending the conference:
30% of guest & speakers are senior leaders from the government sector, including the Ministry of Information & Communications, and provincial departments of Information Technology – who directly formulate policies, plan development roadmaps digital government. 35% of the guests came from other ministries such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Government Office. Not only that, 30% of guests are leaders of provincial People’s Committees & speakers are consultants, IT experts from reputable companies/corporations in the country and internationally. 5% of the guests are leaders, experts from international associations and organizations and people who are particularly interested in developing digital government in Vietnam.
